Errors in software design have an extremely high cost. They slow down the dev velocity, and when an issue hits production “the house is on fire”. While we can't avoid these errors completely, we can speed up the development process, and that's what Fine is all about.

Fine uses generative AI to speed up the development cycle. We do it in two ways:

1. We help devs with task grooming: Devs provide product requirements and Fine generates the most suitable design for them. Teams can then discuss the design and collaborate in a Notebook interface.
2. We implement these specification documents using AI agents. Devs minimize the coed writing time, and focus on what matters: solving problems the right way.

Our tool is built to cater to the future software developer while also providing strong value for today's issues. We believe that this unique approach gives us the opportunity to lead the future of software engineering. Eventually, Fine will replace the IDE and become the de facto interface for building software.
